www.susanderges.com) is well known for her images that are created by exposing objects directly onto photo sensitive paper creating quite abstract pieces of art. Although here image are very contrasty its still easy to recognise the subject through the shapes and angles. Her photos are usually of the natural world and some were even taken by using photographic paper in the natural environment like the shot to the left..
This was taken by placing photographic paper on the riverbed at night and then using a flash gun to expose the rippling water and leaves.I think her Photos are very original and unique and manage to capture nature directly without the use of a camera.
